The Nag Champa flower — Champaka, the plumeria — has been sacred in India for thousands of years. Referenced in the Vedas. Offered at temples from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Its fragrance was considered so pure, so close to the divine, that it was used to welcome the gods.

Somewhere along the way, the name became a commodity. Nag Champa became a category — hundreds of versions, most of them synthetic approximations of the original flower, sold in bulk and burned without thought.

We went back to the flower itself.

Our Nag Champa is built around the actual champaka absolute — the delicate, slightly fruity, intensely floral essence of the blossom as it exists in nature. No masking agents. No synthetic backbone.
